At 20 years, ive been through a lot <br />At times i've had one bad day after the other <br />Some i remember as if it was yesterday, some i forgot <br />Life is no fairytale ive learned, facing our fears is what makes us stonger <br /> <br />Ive beem through bad relationships and more <br />Bad things people say about me, i try to ignore <br />I have'nt had the best of friends <br />I am no saint, i wont pretend <br /> <br />Many times i felt like giving up <br />Felt like the whole world was against me <br />But thinking about it, i felt i needed to grow up <br />I needed to learn that life is not easy <br /> <br />I pray everyday that my life gets better than this <br />I pray that when i get older il still have someone to give me a good night kiss <br />Now that i think about it, in my little world, Im the star <br />And i thank God, that i made it this far<br /><br />Ashley Dias<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-ve-made-it-this-far/
