The sunsets, the nightfalls
Darkness slowly crept in like the race of snails
The sky suddenly turned madder black
Before my eyes, a sullen sight like a dark scrowl
My heartbeats, my mind pounds
Before me stood a frightful sight
The sight of an unseen ghost widening its dark sinister wings
Threatening to perch on me
I quickly closed my eyes
Feeling hopeless and breathless
Afraid to see my dark end
Afraid to see how I am going to be no more
I kept the eyes shut, feet unmoved, and my body motionless
Just the very sight of a dream shattered
But still, the view remained unchanged!
Even when I closed my eyes, I can see
The sight of an unseen ghost
Chasing after me in the dark
Like a gloomy view of a one-side coin
I saw nothing, but something somewhere saw me
In this dark mysteries of the night
Having tossed the one-side coin against the unseen ghost
I decided to face it
That was when I started moving
My step each marked by courage, hope and faith
Seeing the unexpected change in me
The manner I moved like the nailing of an old wood
Slowly and carefully passed the unseen ghost
Peacefully and harmlessly
Suddenly saw a flashed of lightening
I looked up and gazed at the sky
It gleams and sparkles like the view of a crystal geode
There I saw million stars of dazzling brightness
Glittering radiance of hopes on me
They giggled and giggled slowly as they watched me sleeps.........

Naseeru Taneemu Annuree

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/unseen-ghost/
