The drooping faces <br />Holding suprised expressions <br />Are under spires of gold <br />Flakey skin falling like ash <br />And a tattered robe worn frayed <br />Hovering over watching eyes <br />The beings slumped <br />Looking like marionettes <br />Bending under pressure <br />The golden spires fall <br />And the watching eyes liven <br />Cheers of simple song and bliss <br />Rise above all <br />Walls crumble and shackles snap <br />The gray bodies disappear <br />New dawns equal dead eras.<br /><br />C.R.
