I looked at her, trying to remember. <br />I have seen her before but why can't I remember? <br />She stared back with unseeing eyes. <br />Ah! those eyes.. yes i know her.. <br />The laugh lines around them.. <br />I remember.. I look at her mouth <br />wonder if its still smiling? <br /> <br />She was very fond of her laughter. <br />Often laughing even in the middle of her anger. <br />'I laugh my pains away', she had told me once.. <br />But not today.. just like her eyes, her mouth had <br />forgotten the curve of a smile. <br /> <br />I looked again and still couldn't help but wonder, <br />Is she her? Is she the same? <br />what happened to her? <br />I must have thought aloud... <br />Because someone whispered, 'don't you know?
