Icebergs melting, <br />Rapidly under stars. <br />As Earth revolves, <br />Evolving with a speed... <br />Ignored but doing this, <br />Right where we are. <br /> <br />Instead of giving this a priority, <br />We believe we exist only to feed... <br />Greed and selfishness. <br />Yet... <br />So fast and quick is this life lived, <br />As if another Earth is being created... <br />To suddenly appear. <br />That will caress our whims with a similar gift. <br />As we transfer an allowed self-centeredness... <br />To pollute and destroy as we choose, <br />All of the Universe to abuse as ouselves we have done... <br />And have shown we have the experience to do.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
