Lost, confused and dazed <br />Clouded, misty dew drop hazed <br />Memories of regrets cascade <br />Moments of joy degrade and abrade <br /> <br />Finally the sun has bedded away <br />The velvet cloak of darkness here to stay <br />Slight of hand a cruel joke revealed <br />Subjected to immemorial pain annealed <br /> <br />Fingers bent, stabbing at the night <br />So dark it is luminescently bright <br />Stammering steps so blindly taken <br />For my night is endless and god forsaken <br /> <br />Razor blades of time slicing away at life <br />Crimson drops claw the blade of the knife <br />Smooth skin now cracked and creviced <br />Stripped my black to silvery white menaced <br /> <br />Clanking irons of age weighing me down <br />Ripping away flesh leaving Antigone <br />Knees bent gasping for some air <br />Away is my youth without a tear <br /> <br />Living as the eccentric recluse <br />Reclined and resigned abstruse <br />Blinded I see beyond my years <br />Streaming away with forgotten tears <br /> <br />Silent and mournfully reminiscent <br />Braving the change acquiescent <br />Gracefully watching the moon succumb <br />As yet another day has just begun….<br /><br />DEEP DARK SOUL POET<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/lost-confused-and-dazed/
