ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Chaos broke out in rural Peru on Sunday (June 15) after an annual bullfight got out of control and left at least 10 people injured.<br/> <br />The bullfight marks the finale of the yearly Senor Espiritu Santo festival in Ayacucho where locals enter a makeshift ring to show courage in front of a raging bull.<br/> <br />People in the crowd jumped in to assist injured amateur bullfighters and drag them to safety. One young boy jumped on top of a car to avoid the bull's path.<br/> <br />According to local media, many of the participants appeared to be intoxicated during the festivities and one woman tried to push her inebriated husband out of harm's way.<br/> <br />Panic ensued when a drunken ring assistant untied the rope used to protect participants from the bull.<br/> <br />When the bull was freed it charged toward the crowd causing spectators to flee.<br/> <br />The man responsible for releasing the bull was later grabbed by members in the crowd and publicly lashed as punishm
