As I look up at the sky, <br />My nose starts to sniff <br />This peculiar smell into the air, <br />Of a rotting world burried in <br />The abyss of corruption, massacre, bombings <br />And wars, <br />I smell a third world war. <br /> <br />The world is knotted in this smell, <br /> This smell is a curse of; <br />Benghazi fighting Tripoli, <br />South and North Korea are brenemies, <br />I wonder why there are two Sudans, <br />And I wonder why America drunk <br />Peace and spitted war to Syria! <br />By the time I slip into a sleep, <br />Nations will all be subsumed in the smell, <br />UNA fighting Somalia, <br />US fighting Iraq, <br />And from the looks of things, <br />It could be the West against Islam. <br /> <br />More it seems like 'a world against <br />Islam war', <br />With the tankers igniting a huge inferno <br />On Middle East, I smell a peculiar acrid. <br /> <br />A tear drops my eye. <br />My body temperature falls <br />Seeing Turkey declaring to <br />Punish Isreal <br />I get horrible feelings <br />That something like World War ¡¡¡ <br />Is brewing somewhere, somewhere in <br />Iran, Iraq, Syria, Mali, Egypt, all tried on, <br />And Third World seems to be a testing <br />Ground for your superior weapons. <br /> <br />I am thinking passive, and perpetuated <br />With the prophecy of World War ¡¡¡. <br />You claim to be the warchest <br />For peace, <br />I see no changes <br />When you are walking behind amunitions <br />And lies, <br />People killing each the other, <br />And you claim, it's machines killing <br />People don't wanna hear clergies <br />Spill or squeal about peace, <br />It's a war-woe, <br />Not even a religion can save this <br />Global intoxicated smell <br />Of World War ¡¡¡. <br />®Kiyaga Lyttle Cephas 2013<br /><br />Kiyaga Lyttle Cephas<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-smell-a-third-world-war/
