The Fools Chariots The Fools Chariots the skylark had empty champagne buckets in the back seat the driver was slumped in the middle of the front seat his finger was nearly green with swag he drove without looking at the road in New York City the Roman Centurion moved swiftly to the side of his chariot his horses would run now without his commands the police moved into the street quickly placed the spikes and moved back to the roadside the christians moved into the center of the road to take a short break from the hike they placed the bread and the wine they had brought and began to pray the skylark hit the spikes and the negro male full of champagne and smoke woke upp he tried to steer the skylark but it would not obey his commands The Roman Centurion had time to tie the reins to the side and moved the chariot just in time to keep from running down the christians they brought the jaws of life to open up the skylark the negro was dead they think his heart stopped because he could not control his car the grass was laced with meth and they found liquid essence in the champagne the christians shared the meal with the Roman Centurion and he gave them some money when he left he was moving the chariot so fast they feared for others of there kind out there in the way of a motorist moving blind The Fools Chariots<br /><br />Charles Hice<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-fools-chariots/
