What does it mean to be courageous? <br />Does it mean to push fear away and be adventurous <br />I'm asking questions, that we all know the answer too <br />But who is courageous I mean who! ? <br />To be honest I only hear of it... <br />But never see it <br />Obviously the men and women of the law <br />And military <br />Have a strong will to protect us <br />But other then that who...is courageous <br />I know within our hearts we hold pride <br />And unlike treasure it is not something we hide <br />I believe that within us holds the key to everything <br />To medical uses, science, love, and marketing <br />If we can poor technology out of our ear <br />Then...why is there so little courage and so much fear <br />For most it's the same cliche routine... <br />Get up go to work come back every now and then family <br />Only few go high...and most are miserable so many <br />Rushing to work always in a hurry <br />And when life gives them lemons <br />There lips twist and throw them away <br />When opportunity comes knocking at their door <br />We send them back, like they were some kind of ogre <br />Take deep breath and a great look at yourself <br />Are you the kind that think your already in hell? <br />Why do you think, that you think that it is that way <br />Why oh why <br />If you close your eyes and count to ten <br />Numbers will race through the mind and you will open them <br />Right after you get...to the very first 2 digit number <br />You see reality...amazing <br />Yet no matter how hard you try to count different <br />It'll be the same <br />Whether you start from one or seven <br />You'll still open your eyes...and see that you are not in hell <br />...but in heaven<br /><br />Christian Brown<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/numbers-and-courage/
