Mindoro crocodile, I am. <br />Live only in the Philippines, <br />Where most of my species have swam <br />Into human made bad death scenes. <br />But now we're protected by law, <br />Safe in marsh waters o'er and 'neath, <br />Which brings a wide grin to my jaw, <br />Letting bud birds pick in my teeth. <br />But still we're wary humanwise. <br />Though they can be handy, we note. <br />They are so easy to surprise. <br />Here come some tourists in a boat. <br /> <br />Ah - there's a snack for me no doubt. <br />I quickly head for a hand out.<br /><br />Ima Ryma<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/mindoro-croc/
