My friend lost her Grandmother in March so i wrote her a poem. <br /> <br />Four Seasons in a year my friend, <br />Each one is not the same. <br />In Winter it is freezing cold, <br />But in spring, it brings the rain. <br /> <br />Spring depicts the hope, <br />From what summer will bring our way. <br />But even with this though, <br />Im still sad from day to day. <br /> <br />As i sit against my window, <br />It hasnt been that long. <br />From when the flowers had opened up, <br />And since the day you'd gone. <br /> <br />The trees outside they whisper things, <br />Memories from the heart. <br />And even though your not here with me, <br />We're never far apart. <br /> <br />Like a leaf in the Autumn you have fallen, <br />But your life lives on through me. <br />I'll make you proud some day some how, <br />With what i turn out to be. <br /> <br />Four seasons in a year my friend, <br />Each one is not the same. <br />In Winter it is freezing cold, <br />But Spring will ALWAYS bring the rain.<br /><br />Georgina Sweeney<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/four-seasons-death/
