it is sad to remember that once i loved someone <br />who pretended that she loved me too, <br />out of need <br />so she may survive, i was blinded by desire <br />not thinking about how she would <br />have vomited the taste <br />of my kisses <br />how she endured those intimate times <br />which were not at all <br />a comfort to her loneliness <br /> <br />i blamed her for not telling me at once <br />her shortsighted honesty all <br />wrapped in fear, and so one day <br />i set her free, <br /> <br />of course, with some money <br />for her to find the only <br />love of her <br />life.<br /><br />RIC S.
