Cold and hot winds blowing <br />Causing heads to grow horns <br />To stab nothing but to raise the flag <br /> <br />Sometimes to counter voices and imaginary punches <br />Often there’s no threat of any sort than it is considered as such <br />The flag may be raised before the wind blow <br />Before the sign of the real rock fall <br />Before the rain <br />Before the disappearance of the mist or fog <br /> <br />Sometimes the ugly head will rare <br />Causing a scare and hurt with simple ignorance <br />Dismissal or bashing with a feather or paper tiger <br /> <br />The horns will grow out of hand with the repetition of swipe <br />The scare or disrespect <br />Sometimes the backlash will compensate for the bleed of the heart <br />Or succumb of the tortoise head <br />Sometimes the anthill will grow big <br />Eventually bursting like the eruption of the volcano <br />To be met with the hag of self-regret <br />Or backlash of the worst kind of stupidity out of control<br /><br />Niki Nicholas Nkuna<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-flag-11/
