Lighter than a feather gently I rise <br />From the ashes of my remains <br />Into vitas never ending skies <br />To Native heaven great plains <br /> <br />Eagle soars beyond earthly bonds <br />And buffalo roams the grassy land <br />The grizzly feeds on salmon ponds <br />I’m nature’s notes musical band <br /> <br />When hearts stop their daily static <br />And actively listen with cleansed ears <br />I’m the sound of buzzing bees ecstatic <br />Cheery blossoms yielding spheres <br /> <br />I’m the hymn of rolling wind <br />Giving freely life its gentle up lift <br />Pollen to pollen I transfer God’ mind <br />Blessings prayers every spring’s gift <br /> <br /> Body mass once imprisoned me <br />I’m not there or it; cry not for its demise <br />Worldly shackled prison set fee <br />Released from the handcuffs of analyze <br /> <br />When holding nature’s hands again <br />These precious moments set prayers free <br />Rays filter softly from the den of Zen <br />Sun nourishes every poetic tree <br /> <br />No sash separates me from the divine <br /> When two shall become the one <br />No dogma captures the essence of shrine <br />Night is dead my light has won <br /> <br />October 20,2013 <br />Copyright Leaking Pen 2013<br /><br />Leaking Pen<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/slowly-gently-i-rise/
