Good Lord.................... <br /> <br />Good Lord deliver us from such doctors <br />Who first feel the pulse of our purse <br />Then the racy heart beats quite after <br />Lest we later pay inflated bills with and added curse <br /> <br />And all those tests that we do undergo <br />Because some scanning centre is in tow <br />To commission him with cash and gifts galore <br />Such evil tales are now common lore <br /> <br />And it never ends there as well <br />The pharma co’s have targets to meet <br />So medical reps and doctors have to jell <br />And helpless patients become easy meat <br /> <br />And so kidneys go missing at times <br />Surgical items found in intestines <br />Wrong prescriptions leave some mortified <br />And when every thing fails the govt gen hospital is fine <br /> <br />The trust is gone as you can now see <br />The cure sometimes worse than the disease <br />“surgery successful”, but the patient’s soul is free <br />And the body carried home iced properly. <br /> <br />(There are always exceptions to this)<br /><br />krishnakumar chandrasekar nair<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/good-lord-save-me-from-such-doctors/
