i sit and dream about someone else's heart <br />but the beat, it's not there! <br />but i don't really care <br />i sit and dream of the one i should be <br />the one i was from the start <br />a castle a bed and a coffin is all i see <br />in this fantastical dream <br />oh who could this be <br />who's heart that does not beat <br />why are you haunting me? <br />i lie on my bed breathing in the <br />comforting darkness <br />and suddenly crimson eyes glaring at me <br />is what i sense and see <br />oh who could this be? <br />it maybe <br />my insanity catching up with me <br />still those eyes to me haunting as they are <br />they don't scare me but are familiar you see <br />such contrast they are to big brown eyes mine <br />yet i love how they shine <br />those eyes and that heart that does not beat <br />i will dream of both while i sleep.... <br />~mina<br /><br />mina royer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/someone-else-s-heart-who-could-t-be/
