Primitive or modern; <br />What God is always <br />Stays inquisition of man <br />Though in his own image <br />God is created <br />And worshipped by him always <br />See how frightful God is <br />Glaring at you in a temple <br />And his idea of God it is <br />Form or formless <br />Man creates God in his own image <br />Man knows not God <br />What He really is <br />But he imagines Him <br />To be this or that always <br />The worshipper in a temple <br />Or mosque or church <br />Holding within his mind an image <br />And worshipping that image, not real <br />He is worshipping an idea <br />Something by nature not eternal <br />Clinging not to reality but illusion <br />And illusion which is not real <br />Have been practiced by him <br />Through hundreds of years <br />Because people have suggested it to him to be real <br />When man learns to build a temple quiet <br />Within his own heart <br />Then what God is he will have learnt…………….. <br /> <br />Note-This is not to hurt anybody’s faith or sentiment. <br /> This is my personal feeling of something <br /> Which looks illusive though people have great faith on it<br /><br />DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/illusion-2-2/
