Our feeble-frame biology <br />Won't let mankind relax: <br />We're drowning in technology; <br />We're overrun by apps. <br /> <br />Until we've got a gadget <br />For every household task <br />Which operates like magic, <br />The future's worse than black. <br /> <br />Our hope will quickly vanish <br />If we can't get enough. <br />How ever would we manage <br />Without such techie stuff? <br /> <br />Without new swish computers <br />To cope with life's fast pace, <br />Can there be any future <br />For all the human race? <br /> <br />If there were no technology <br />Perhaps there'd be less stress <br />And some reverse psychology <br />Might help clear up the mess. <br /> <br />For man has lived for centuries <br />Without such things about. <br />So surely, fundamentally <br />We might just do without. <br /> <br />And life would not be a circus, <br />But simple and such fun; <br />If only we could purchase <br />An app to get it done!<br /><br />C Richard Miles<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/there-must-be-an-app-for-it/
