I walk forward, like “Nephi of Old”, <br />knowing only of this task I’ve been told. <br />I’m dimly hopeful of the path I walk, <br />so I bend my knees and humbly I talk. <br />Then I’m replied with trembling tears <br />that warms my heart and soothes my fears. <br />I know in my heart, but it’s not my voice, <br />a sweet new color flows from my choice. <br />Chains broken, and weights I drop. <br />The pains in my back suddenly stop. <br />I mourn no more, so I say unto you <br />worry no more, yea, trust and go do.<br /><br />Robert Stoddard<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/he-listens-2/
