The restfulness of the earth’s existence takes my breath away. <br />My time alone is where my heart and soul find their way. <br />My eyes embrace the beauty from across and over the land. <br />I’m captivated by the sensation, and tranquility from where I stand. <br /> <br />I set my soul free to roam without a care. <br />I absorb the gentleness of nature’s breeze rustling through my hair. <br />I catch radiant rays of the sun beaming in between the trees. <br />I observe clusters of sparkling like diamonds pouring over me. <br /> <br />I behold the joyous sounds of flowing waters from a far away distance. <br />I grasp with amazement its fascinating existence. <br />I closely watch birds fly dreamily through the sky with sounds of delight. <br />I can see the beauty of their open wings gliding up so high in flight. <br /> <br />Refreshing dewdrops that surface to the earth coat my soul with gleam. <br />As I close my eyes I thank God for the success to my every dream. <br />The serenity of nature synchronizes my heart with peace. <br />In return to the reality of my life, I can face the world with a sense of relief.<br /><br />Linda Patino<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-time-alone/
