Common ancestor of gods and men <br />I followed Chaos <br />through ages of cataclysms and envies. <br /> <br />Boastful and exultant <br />I play a waiting game, <br />at once King and Fool. <br /> <br />My omen birds, <br />crows and ravens, <br />my black birds eat red berries. <br /> <br />My loyal dancing clowns <br />wear festive rings <br />on their Fool's Finger. <br /> <br />The child gods and goddesses plot <br />to exile me.
