I can enjoy a good laugh. <br />Sometimes at my expense. <br />But I don't live my life to joke. <br />Or be by those provoked. <br />With a doing of it to experience. <br /> <br />And I've explained to those who believe, <br />A repeated doing of this... <br />Doesn't leave me pleased. <br />Especially after warnings that persist, <br />To help them recognize the difference. <br /> <br />But the difference isn't known. <br />And the best thing is to split. <br />Or choosing an alternative... <br />By the silencing of one's lips. <br />Hoping that message is taken seriously. <br />And the immaturity done will cease to quit.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
