Pain fills my heart as blood fills my veins <br />Few people understand what my poetry explains <br />Fewer yet know the emotions my body contains <br />My mind listens quietly as my heart complains. <br /> <br />Pressure building inside my skin <br />Pressing fiercely from within <br />Seeking the stimulus of adrenaline <br />A result of self desecration. <br /> <br />The warm feeling of the blade slicing through <br />Splitting the skin and the nerves in two <br />Hot pulsing blood covering human tissue <br />Releiving the pain caused by you. <br /> <br />Knowing that my actions are wrong <br />And the feeling wont last for long <br />My actions make me feel like I belong <br />But I am a cutter and this is my song. <br /> <br />I know people will never understand why <br />Or how often I try not to cry <br />Even how often I wanted to die <br />I feel that I am living a lie. <br /> <br />So this is my way to cope with the feeling <br />As I figure out what fate is dealing <br />Hoping one day I can start healing <br />But until then, I continue concealing. <br /> <br />Concealing these demons I have been harboring.<br /><br />J R Reynolds<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-razors-edge-3/
