I don't have all the answers <br />Heck I don't have any answers <br />I don't seek them either <br />I just be. <br />I do know some basic facts <br />They anchor my footings in this short life <br />The Sun always rises from the East <br />Chasing the moon is a perpetual motion <br />I fall prey to 4 unpredictable seasons <br />I cry when I hear a breakup song <br />I love my family. <br />I respect God; I don't second or third guess him <br />I let Him be, I simply go on <br />He has his reasons, I have my journey <br />These simple cornerstones enough <br />For me to sail through life's ups and downs <br />I don't fuss about the size of my bank account either <br />Whether overflowing with abundance like Niagara falls <br />Or a measly creek in a desert <br />I just live one day at time <br />And yes I do follow the Golden rule <br />I respect my fellow Man <br />If I am given the finger by mistake <br />I pretend it's glorifying the heavens above <br />And if I hear a shout or two <br />I pretend it's a Hallelujah choir warming up <br />And if a lack of smile frames my day <br />I bite into a tablet of sweet dark chocolate <br />Life is simple <br />Life is sweet <br />Life is beautiful <br />I am alive <br />Amen to that <br />And that is that <br /> <br />Copyright Leaking Pen 2012 <br />Feb 5 2012<br /><br />Leaking Pen<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/answers-44/
