I feel my life incomplete <br />and beginning to struggle. <br />A gaping hole resides within <br />and only time will see it’s replete. <br />What's missing? <br />I find no answer, <br />but a light in the sky <br />and a birdless feather, <br />elegantly descending to my side. <br />Give me the answer <br />I need to revive, <br />shining bright as it hits the earth. <br />I look back up to see a dove soaring high. <br />Reminding me that life may not always be complete, <br />but like the fallen feather <br />from the angelic dove, its missing piece, <br />will always grow back in due time, <br />and the dove will continue to fly high. <br />Complete as it can be, <br />with just the small missing feather <br />descending from the galaxy.<br /><br />Chris Cariad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-birdless-feather/
