On the other side of the light they are. <br />On the other side of that brightness. <br />Never to become that shooting star. <br />That travels the universe... <br />To places where imaginations thirst, <br />In dreams. <br />Or decide to become fixed, <br />Within the magnitude of cosmic greatness. <br /> <br />Too many have chosen their visit on Earth... <br />Just to sit. <br />Refusing encouragement that nourishes. <br />And ignoring their gifts... <br />They came here blessed with. <br />To do nothing uplifting but to inflict conflicts! <br /> <br />On the other side of the light they are. <br />On the other side of that brightness. <br />Never to become that shooting star. <br />That travels the universe. <br />Or decide to become fixed, <br />Within the magnitude of cosmic greatness. <br /> <br />And it is unfortunate, <br />They have chosen to sell their souls... <br />In exchange for their clipped wings! <br />And it is unfortunate, <br />They preferred to moan instead of sing. <br />Becoming transfixed with mindsets, <br />Hypnotized with temptations that lured them away! <br />Becoming betrayed enslaved to addictions to things... <br />That could never bring to them eternal bliss! <br /> <br />And it is unfortunate, <br />They chose to sell their souls... <br />In exchange for their clipped wings! <br />And it is unfortunate, <br />They preferred to moan instead of sing. <br />Becoming transfixed with mindsets, <br />Hypnotized with temptations that lured them away! <br />Becoming betrayed. <br />Enslaved to addictions to things... <br />That could never bring to them eternal bliss! <br />Or that light within their consciousness, <br />To exist... <br />Forever in the heavens as joyful spirits!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
