Amazing love, how can it be, <br />That Thou my Lord would die for me? <br />Thank You that Your children, <br />Who accept that love from Thee, <br />Can always be assured, <br />You’ve won for us the victory! <br /> <br />We cannot see what lies ahead <br />Just a little out of sight. <br />But we know without a doubt Dear Lord, <br />You’ll lead us by Your light! <br /> <br />We know You care when we’re awake. <br />And, You care when we’re asleep. <br />We know You care what we’re clothed with, <br />And you’ll provide what we daily eat. <br /> <br />So, we can trust You when times are dark, <br />Just as much as within Your light. <br />And we know someday that we will find, <br />In You, all turned out for the right! <br /> <br />The air we breathe, and the trees and leaves <br />There is one thing even more rare. <br />For in little things such as me you see <br />It’s good to know He Cares!<br /><br />Robert Edgar Burns<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/he-cares-3/
