i sometimes wish to see you <br />upon a chair <br />knitting a pattern of flowers <br />upon a cloth of <br />silk, <br /> <br />or perhaps mixing the flour <br />and eggs <br />and finally baking a cake <br />with chocolate <br />dressing and <br />rose icing <br /> <br />or perhaps spending more time <br />tending the flowers in the garden <br />under the morning sun <br /> <br />it would have been a beautiful <br />view <br />of a complete woman in my mind <br /> <br />but you never really tried <br /> <br />what can i possibly write about you? <br /> <br />sitting idly upon a sofa <br />watching so much tv <br />smoke on one hand and <br />a glass of vodka on the <br />other <br /> <br />the room is littered with ash <br />and there are tears in your eyes.<br /><br />RIC S.
