On few things at all we do seem to agree <br />The heroes to you are not heroes to me <br />My heroes not aggressive in any sort of a way <br />They do good deeds for others without asking for pay <br />Your heroes are wealthy and famous and brave <br />And legends to you do not die in their grave <br />And though by their acts of kindness by good example they lead <br />My heroes to you seem quite ordinary indeed <br />But in having said that it does seem fair to say <br />That we all look at life and people in a different way <br />What seems ordinary to you to me does seem great <br />Quite a different sort of a person we choose to celebrate <br />We look at things differently that suits me fine <br />And your heroes one can say are different to mine.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/different-to-mine/
