Lonely we travel life’s long road <br />Regardless who’s around <br />Alone we bear our heavy load <br />Till safe beneath the ground <br /> <br />But is the ground our final rest <br />Is death the last goodbye? <br />Or could life be The Father’s test? <br />Concluded when we die <br /> <br />Yes in a way these thoughts are true <br />The reason that you give <br />But God’s so much in love with you <br />He seeks that you may live <br /> <br />Who is this God with so much love? <br />That you He should adore <br />Who wants you rise to Him above <br />And live forever more <br /> <br />God saw you as a little child <br />He sees your heart of stone <br />He sees you as you’re running wild <br />Yet wants you for His own <br /> <br />He paved the way to let us see <br />Crucified long ago <br />Saving our souls setting us free <br />Showing how far He’ll go <br /> <br />But yet one thing be more than sure <br />Whatever we’ve believed <br />God’s still prepared to do much more <br />Than what we’ve yet received <br /> <br />Its up to us the choice is ours <br />Salvation’s rich and free <br />Yield to Christ His awesome powers <br />Obey Your God and see<br /><br />Michael P.
