war is meant to be fought <br />but patriotism <br />patriotism is an infallible disease <br />fighting for a belief is noble <br />but fighting a country is flawed <br />both countries and beliefs can be flawed <br />and construed <br />but at least a belief comes from you <br />not from a false idol <br />or land supposedly owned <br />all Patriotism does is destroy lives <br />innocent men women and children <br />all to claim couple drops of oil <br />a few feet of land <br />a slightly stronger support <br />for the church of the 'greater good' <br />blood spilt <br />from those who could do great things <br />forcing entire countries <br />into labels and stereotypes <br />begging for help from the ones who <br />labeled them <br />forced them into submission <br />like the poor savages they are viewed to be <br />satisfying the insecure <br />wars are meant to be fought <br />i will fight this war <br />against war<br /><br />archangel lucifer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/war-257/
