Hey ma, I've suffered a lot because of what you taught me. <br />But thanks though, for it has gotten me thus far. <br />You said “leave it so for peace” but forgive me please ‘cause my soul is at war. <br />I've always withdrew for peace’s sake but my heart got torn into pieces. <br />You made me become speechless and it left me depressed. <br />So, what’s peace ma? <br />Is it bruises and scars, is it negligence and flaws? <br />What if peace isn't best for the moment? <br />What if peace makes me weak? <br />I think I wanna be a republican, no more democracy! <br />I wanna be able to defend myself, I wanna be like a lion and roar. <br />I’m sick and tired of being a coward for peace. <br />I wanna be dark and shady like the mist. <br />I wanna be a tyrant ma. <br />A Fidel Castro or an Adolph Hitler. <br />I wanna be strong and in command. <br />Peace, there can never be peace when everyone’s heart is full of hatred. <br />I wanna use my fist and piss on those that hate me. <br />I’m in love with beauty so I wanna be beast. <br />Peace, let it be a thing of the past, <br />Please ma, forgive me fast.<br /><br />devon da poet<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/leave-it-so-for-peace/
