I'm sorry if I start to pout, <br />But there's this lady I must tell you about, <br />She has long Hair and eyes a beautiful shade of brown, <br />I'll always try to lift her spirits whenever she is down, <br />She has this certain glow to her which I can't explain, <br />She can ease your heart and mind even through the hardest pain, <br />She can bring joy to your heart and put a smile on your face, <br />She can turn your day from grey 2 blue without a single trace, <br />Then one day she decided to do her favortie drug of choice, <br />She came home that night had so much hatred in her voice, <br />As the years pass on mostly everything remains the same, <br />Now this lady's gone, i'm very sad and remian with lots of shame, <br />She had drifted away from the lady I once trusted and dearly loved, <br />and now instead of giving hugs they are replaced with violent shoves, <br />For many years I wondered, why this lady changed, <br />This wasn't her, it couldn't be, this lady was just so strange, <br />The glow that she onece had, is now replaced with hate <br />I really want to love her but i feel it is to late <br />These yars that have passed have made me stop and think, <br />That maybe things would've been better if I would've took the time to be suppportive of her dreams, <br />But my life was smashed faster than hers came crumbling down <br />all because the drug game seemed like her only way out <br />She's the most beautiful person i wish others can see <br />Past all the pain and anguish she has given me <br />She is like an angel sent from distant lands <br />to prove a point to all of us that drugs can give us idle hands <br />I know she never meant for things to be this way <br />But as soon as those drugs hit her mind <br /> <br /> MY MOMMY WENT INSAINE!<br /><br />Nakia Crespin<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/idle-hands-2/
