The flame in kaleidoscopic colours <br />Stretches to holy heaven and beyond, <br />And spreads divine light all over the world <br />With the warmth of peace and contentment; <br />The heat it brings does dig to deep hell <br />Of gut wrenching pain and endless grief <br />To scorch the soul and desiccate its juice, <br />It freezes life spirit to helpless void. <br /> <br />The fire that gives that flame and heat <br />Burns from aeons to eternity ahead <br />In steady pace in cosmic divine hearth, <br />Oblivious of joy and grief it brings; <br />The fire is pure; its flame is pure, <br />The light it gives is eternally pure, <br />Yet heat emanates from time’s riddles, <br />It clouds the depth of the timeless fire. <br /> <br />The rise and fall are little plays <br />The fire endures in its long course <br />In its response to time and space <br />To oblige nature and bring balance; <br />Rise and falls stand head on each other, <br />As recurring tides, reinforce the other <br />And bring to the fire rainbow colours, <br />Yet fire by its self, is sheer joy and peace.<br /><br />Praveen Kumar in Celestial Glow<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/holy-fire-2/
