<p>A <a class="link" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://siouxcityjournal.com/news/state-and-regional/south-dakota/tornado-rips-south-dakota-town-wednesday-night/article_af78ae35-d57c-5f40-a9c3-76580c247b19.html" target="_blank">confirmed tornado</a> touched down in Alpena, South Dakota, on Wednesday, June 18. Around 100 soldiers from the South Dakota National Guard were deployed to nearby Wessington Springs after a second tornado ripped through the town, leveling buildings and injuring one person.</p><p>This video, shot in Gann Valley, around 40 miles west of Alpena, shows the tornado approaching the town.
