Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is in France where he and President Francois Hollande have been discussing the crises in Syria and Iraq. <br /><br />On Saturday, Erdogan was due to meet the Turkish community in Lyon, in what is widely seen as part of his campaign to win Turkey’s presidency in elections this August. <br /><br />Opponents have planned protests in the city, accusing Erdogan’s government of violating human rights, failing to respect Turkey’s secular tradition and attacking minorities.
