To thrive! I’d cheat, deceive and lie <br />I’d comb the world debris <br />For self I’d seek to multiply <br />Whilst Jesus Christ loved me <br /> <br />My words my deeds were Jesus plain <br />Each thought His eyes could see <br />My wayward life was lived in vain <br />Yet still God’s Lamb loved me <br /> <br />Disobedient and plagued with doubt <br />From light my soul would flee <br />Till God came down to sought me out <br />Through Jesus loving me <br /> <br />Love saw my heart my evil soul <br />Upon that dreadful Tree <br />Shedding life’s blood to make me whole <br />The Lamb of God loves me <br /> <br />Nothing I’d say nothing I’d done <br />Could bring such victory <br />Yet here I stand with battle’s won <br />Through Jesus loving me <br /> <br />His side, His feet, each nail pierced hand <br />My eyes began to see <br />Through grace I truly understand <br />God’s awesome Son loves me <br /> <br />Now born of spirit heart ablaze <br />Blessed on bended knee <br />With joyful soul I’ll sing God’s praise <br />Through Jesus’ loving me <br /> <br />I’ll sing out loud, sing soft and sweet <br />With all who will agree <br />Sitting beside those ancient feet <br />Of Jesus loving me<br /><br />Michael P.
