Tell Me That Hope Called <br />by Alex Lewis <br /> <br />Tell me that Hope called. <br />Let me know that He rang. <br />If He didn't, I'd be quite appalled. <br />I might cry like a swallow sang. <br /> <br />I need a glimpse of peace. <br />I need a glimpse of light. <br />Can't you see this is my caprice? <br />Hope called! (I hope I'm right) <br /> <br />I'm desperate for Hope! <br />I think I need Him now. <br />Don't tell me 'no! ' Don't tell me 'nope! ' <br />Tell me 'yes! ' or I'll turn foul! <br /> <br />For if He didn't call, <br />I might loose this day. <br />Hope makes me short.
