Like a tricked out circus clown <br />This character was amazing <br />And from gobbledygooks realm <br />He orated his unearthly lecture <br /> <br />As soon as he fell into a trance <br />The audience cheered him on <br />You could have heard a pin dropp <br />In- between his feverish outbursts <br /> <br />Were folks so really desperate <br />And in dire need of an alternative <br />As they had willingly paid <br />Just to sit and listen to gibberish <br /> <br />I concluded it was so <br />As in essence the “medium” fulfilled a role <br />By pouring full the vacuum <br />That had been created by the loss of organized religion <br /> <br />Uncontrollable were his convulsions <br />As he channeled words from another dimension <br />And when he finally finished “speaking” <br />The audience stood in ovation <br /> <br />© Calac<br /><br />Chris Lane<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/gobbledygook-speaks/
