An Angel cried <br />Ice came out of her very eyes <br />Full of shame <br />And I have no idea why <br /> <br />An Angel cried <br />Build an igloo with her Artic eyes <br />So cold and morbid <br />Awaiting her own demise <br /> <br />Into the depths of her frozen hell she goes <br />Judged herself her own self judgmental woes <br />Felt ugly and all alone <br />Stuck in a roam less roam <br /> <br />Yet, Heaven was always there <br />Abased she never could bare to show her face <br />Felt like a disgusting disgrace <br />Felt like a waste of space <br /> <br />An Angel cried <br />Upon the northern skies <br />Clear visions pulverized <br />Freezing innocence of it's pride <br />Giving into the lust of a polar shift demise <br /> <br />A world spreading it's cold <br />A new ice age being foretold <br />Climate changes abound <br />The bare essentials of an uninhabitable ground <br /> <br />This Angel can no longer fly <br />Her wings, Frozen <br />Her soul has died <br /> <br />Society made her cry <br />Yet, Everyone asks each other why <br />The blame is never ones burden <br />As long as long as no one else is hurting <br /> <br />And with her wrath comes pain <br />Now all knows her name <br />Mother, She is to us all <br />How can we even be rectified by her fall? <br /> <br />An Angel cried <br />Ice came from her eyes <br />Stuck in her own demise <br />Now everything around her has died <br /> <br />This was a vision I had <br />So dreary and so very sad <br />The world how its gone so mad <br />Vindication a defense for the weary <br /> <br />In a vast imaginative trance <br />Gone in a winter storm fury <br /> <br />Awaiting spring to be sprung at last <br />Soon all cold will pass <br />And warmth will soon be delivered <br /> <br />An Angel once cried <br />Now I know exactly why<br /><br />James Darwin Smith II<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/an-angel-cried/
