A Spanish court upholds corruption charges against Princess Cristina de Borbon and her husband Wednesday.<br /> <br />They're accused of money laundering and tax fraud.<br /> <br />In court appearances, Princess Cristina and her husband, Inaki Urdangarin, have denied wrongdoing.<br /> <br />This is her lawyer, Miguel Roca, Wednesday:<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(Spanish) LAWYER OF PRINCESS CRISTINA, MIGUEL ROCA, SAYING:<br /> <br />"We obviously don't agree with this decision. We are aware of the magistrate's opinion but we don't agree with it and we are going to appeal against this decision before the Audience (of Palma de Mallorca)."<br /> <br />The royal family has lost favor with the public in recent years after a series of scandals.<br /> <br />Barely a week ago, Cristina's father, King Juan Carlos, abdicated in favor of his son Felipe in a bid to revive their image.<br /> <br />But the latest corruption charges could be a blow.<br /> <br />People on the streets of Madrid believe the princess should be treated like everybody else.
