As many as 14 people have been killed after a gas pipeline exploded in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.<br /><br />Ten people suffered injuries when a fire broke out in the pipe run by the Gas Authority of India Limited.<br /><br />The state owned gas processing company says the cause of the explosion is unknown and search and rescue operations are ongoing. <br /><br />Witnesses say the pipe ruptured and flames swept through nearby houses.<br /><br />Authorities expect the number of fatalities to rise.<br /><br />The government has ordered a high level probe into the blast.
