ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Britain's Queen Elizabeth on Saturday (June 28) attended a ceremony in London to remember those who volunteered for duty in the First World War.<br/> <br />The service, which the British monarch attended with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, took place on the 100th anniversary of the assassination of the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne.<br/> <br />The Archduke Franz Ferdinand was shot dead in Sarajevo in June 1914, lighting the fuse for the First World War.<br/> <br />The London ceremony took place at the Royal Chelsea Hospital, which is the home of retired British Army soldiers.<br/> <br />The Chelsea Pensioners, as they are known, wear distinctive scarlet uniforms and tricorner hats and are a colorful addition to nearly every highlight of the British summer season from Ascot to Wimbledon.<br/> <br />Saturday's event took place during Britain's Armed Forces Day.<br/> <br />Some 2.6 million people volunteered from the United Kingdom during World War One and some 1.5 mi
