ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />The Governor of the Ukrainian city of Khmelnytsky was confronted and attacked at the Khmelnytsky Regional State Administration building on Wednesday (July 2) by an angry crowd demanding his resignation.<br/> <br />Leonid Prus was verbally and physically confronted by residents of Khmelnytsky. The crowds chanted 'resign' as he stood amongst them - before the confrontation became a physical one.<br/> <br />Prus told the crowd he believed he was fulfilling his duties. An angry resident strongly disagreed and began yelling at him.<br/> <br />Despite a police presence in the room, scuffles broke out and video footage shows Prus being hit and carried by the angry crowd.<br/> <br />The Khmelnytsky residents also scuffled with the police.<br/> <br />Prus, wearing a torn in half suit jacket, managed to leave the building through the window; only to be cornered by more dismayed residents outside.
