An overpass under construction in the Brazilian World Cup host city of Belo Horizonte collapses, crushing vehicles beneath, and killing at least one person, officials said.<br /> <br />It fell on top of one of the main thoroughfares that connects a World Cup stadium and the international airport.<br /> <br />Hours into the night -- crews worked to remove a passenger bus that had been partially crushed -- while another car was still trapped under the wreckage.<br /> <br />They also removed a body from the crash site.<br /> <br />Earlier in the day, a health department official said that two people had died, but later retracted that number to say one of the deaths was not confirmed.<br /> <br />Fire officials said 19 others were injured in the incident.<br /> <br />The overpass was originally intended to be part of a bus system that officials had promised would be ready in time for the games.<br /> <br />This isn't the first such fatal World Cup-related accident.
