Police surround the school where a French teacher was stabbed to death in front of her students on the last day of school.<br/> <br />The government says the 34-year-old teacher, who was married and had two young children was stabbed and killed by the mother of a student.<br/> <br />The suspect was arrested not far from the school about 20 minutes after the deadly attack.<br/> <br />France's education minister responded to the scene immediately.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: (French) EDUCATION MINISTER BENOIT HAMON SAYING:<br/> <br />"This July 4, a time that we're meant to be feeling happy for the children that school's finishing and the holidays are starting and the teachers have rounded off a year, will now definitively be a day of mourning for all of us because of this abominable crime."<br/> <br />The preliminary investigation shows the woman who stabbed the teacher had known psychiatric problems.
