A Swiss helicopter firm is being investigated for allegedly trying to sell the medical files of Michael Schumacher. <br /><br />The ex-Formula One world champion’s records were taken last month when he was transferred from a hospital in France to a clinic in Lausanne, Switzerland. <br /><br />Schumacher’s manager Sabine Kehm claimed at the time that the medical notes, which were being offered for sale on the internet for 50,000 euros, were ‘‘clearly stolen’‘.<br /><br />While the ex-racing driver was eventually transported by road, the Swiss helicopter firm that was initially contacted about the transfer, is still thought to have received the files. <br /><br />French authorities are said to have traced an IP address used by the alleged thief to the Swiss company. <br /><br />Schumacher recently emerged from a medically induced coma after suffering a severe head injury during a skiing accident last December. Little is known about his current medical condition.
