NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden would like to return to the United States, according to his lawyer. <br /><br />Snowden is currently living in Russia, where he was granted a year’s asylum in August 2013.<br /><br />Speaking in Germany, Snowden’s lawyer Wolfgang Kaleck: “He is doing well, considering the circumstances. He was aware that he would be taking a risk and he is aware of the risk now.”<br /><br />Snowden faces charges in the US of espionage and theft of government property.
