LAHORE: A Lahore court sent Gullu Butt - who gained notoriety by smashing cars during the June 17 clashes between Tahirul Qadri’s supporters and the police - on a six-day physical remand. <br /> <br />Butt, an active member of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), will be kept in police custody at Faisal Town police station. <br />He was earlier sent on a 14-day judicial remand on the orders of the magistrate two days after the violent clashes at Minhajul Quran Secretariat in Model Town. <br />Butt was caught smashing cars during the clash between PAT workers and the police outside the Minhaj ul Quran International Secretariat. <br />He smashed windscreens and windows of private vehicles with his club, while police officials looked on and the vandalism continued unabated.
